You'd never describe our Hot Chilli Flakes Cheddar Truckle as 'ordinary' and we never intended it to play second-fiddle on the plate. What might surprise you is how well the heat of these sweet chilli flakes works in combination with the lactic creaminess of our mature cheddar - they really complement each other in the same way that chilli and dark chocolate work brilliantly. We've worked hard to get the flavour balance right, with the resulting cheese working well with sweet and well as savoury dishes from rich fruit cake to rarebit.
